Wyon AG was created in the year 1999 as a private company. In the first years the principal activity was in the engineering range.

rechargeable Lithium/Ion batteries:

Starting from 2002, Wyon has developed rechargeable Lithium/Ion batteries with smallest size, high energy content and with as low as possible weight.

Wyon developed and patented accordingly a new constructional structure of battery with maximum power density. As encasing material a special, gas-tight plastic was selected.

The gas-tight plastic housing offers the following advantages:

	substantially smaller battery weight
	high power-density
	External form can be adapted to the customer's request
	The protection circuit can be integrated in the battery housing
	The housing is skin compatible
	On customer's request, the battery can be painted colored.
	An isolating battery box is not necessary, thus the total volume can be reduced additionally.

In the years 2003 to 2005 comprehensive test rows with the batteries and the necessary safety tests for product security (UL and UN) were accomplished and successfully locked. Wyon produced since autumn 2005 a first customized battery for a medical application. Further products are developed and at present tested.

Lithium/Ion Battery chargers:

In co-operation with a Swiss electronics company, Wyon developed a the batteries optimal adapted battery charger. The outside design was given by the customer.

Further customized battery chargers can be developed with the existing charger-electronics.

Wyon supply additionally to the particularly produced battery charger the suitable power supplies, international adapters and car adapters.
